Training

Super Dogz offers a range of training courses and options.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL DOGS ATTENDING SUPER DOGZ FOR TRAINING MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF C3 VACCINATION IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO CLASS. IN THE INTERESTS OF BIOSECURITY THERE CAN BE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE AND PROOF OF VACCINATION MUST BE SHOWN BEFORE ENTERING.

In home consultation and training:
Private consultations and training sessions are $70/hr (at Super Dogz) plus travel fee if outside of Clarence Town. Perfect for those who can’t make weekly training groups, have dogs with behavioural issues at home, or multi-dog households that require management.
Meg will work with you to solve problem behaviours and train your dog, as well as put management plans in place.

One-on-one lesson package
5 x 30 minute private lessons held at Super Dogz in Clarence Town for $140.
Includes written training plan.



Group classes
In 2025, Super Dogz will only be offering small group classes of 3 dogs/handlers.

Small class sizes have multiple advantages including:

  • Every course will be customised to the level of the three participants and their areas of focus
  • Indoor training in inclement weather to reduce interruptions to the course
  • Night time training under lights is available
  • Minimised down time during class as participants will be matched with others at a similar stage and skill level

Content can include:

  • loose lead walking
  • recall training
  • settling and calming skills
  • traditional obedience skills such as sit, drop, stay
  • gaining and keeping your dogs attention
  • assistance choosing and fitting training aids such as harnesses and halters, with the opportunity to try out different aids within class to find what works well for your dog
  • introduction to obstacles
  • walking at heel
  • fearfulness, lack of confidence

Held at Super Dogz in Clarence Town, your investment for these classes is $140 for 5 x 1 hour classes


Snake Aversion
This one day workshop uses the training methods of internationally renowned Scent Detection Trainer Steve Austin to train aversion to snakes and reptiles.
$120 per dog. Participants are required to purchase an aversion collar (citronella) to use during the class and to continue training at home.

Aggressive/Reactive dogs
Super Dogz offers one-on-one training for dogs who are dog reactive and/or have a dog-dog bite/fight history. Super Dogz does not work with dogs who have a human bite history, are human aggressive, or who have inflicted serious harm or death on another dog. Each dog is different so please get in touch to see if Super Dogz can help with your particular dog.
